This minor update brings you a special scenario fix that caused an unnecessary browser alert.
Also, object caching now works as intended and you can see a minor performance improvement when used.
2.5.2 – Data Feed Influx
This is the biggest update so far, with over a hundred noticeable changes and with many functions added to remove repeated calls and replace them with memory stored functions.
This update of The SEO Framework brings you Feed excerpt generation as well as options to add backlinks in the feed. You can now also add your Pinterest verification code.
Also, a lot of the WordPress behavior detection and plugin detection has been reworked, improved and has been put to great use within the option pages to eliminate confusion by removing options if they have no effect.
And last but not least, due to popular demand an extra option has been added to change the Title generation, although it decouples all your pages within your website.
Oh, and many minor improvements and bug fixes have also been put into effect, including a few more important WooCommerce shop page fixes and a proud-to-be-of 20% overall performance improvement.
2.5.1 – Undocumented Properties
This update addresses issues with the Facebook protocol caused by overlooked (and undocumented) terms. This makes sure the Facebook meta tags work correctly and as per standards.
Also, all Posts Page data has been fixed and is now being fetched correctly.
2.5.0 – Vibrant SEO
This is a massive update which makes The SEO Framework much easier to understand, with colorized counters, color vision deficiency support and many more changes.
The SEO Framework now also has better support for robots to access and understand your website.
One way robots better understands your website is that Social (Auto-)Descriptions have received an overhaul since they abide to different standards, they may also be much longer!
The Robots.txt file output has been reworked and will now prevent notifications in Google Webmaster Tools.
WooCommerce has gained extra support with multiple Social Open Graph Product Images and front-end AnsPress question descriptions now reflect the admin side.
Accessibility and understanding of how this plugin handles titles has been improved when adding custom titles.
Theme load has been reduced with removal of unneeded filters as The SEO Framework overrides them.
Many requests by The SEO Framework users have been instated, most of them are hidden in filters.
For developers, a way of adding custom page ID’s is now possible through a filter. This makes sure this plugin is extensible and compatible on a new big layer.
A few functions have been rewritten, and because of this and other big changes for developers and super-users alike, a version bump has been put in place.
And many fixes have been put in place. These fixes will make sure everything works as expected in special cases.
2.4.3.1 – Naming Things
Small update which fixes two bugs reported by my dear users, Thanks! :)
Search Pages are now also generating a new cache key so they can’t conflict with the home page cache anymore in special scenarios.
