The SEO Framework 4.2.2

Released on December 6, 2021

This minor update addresses a regression where the homepage canonical URL was missing a trailing slash.

Detailed log

Code changes

For everyone

  • Fixed:
    • The homepage URL now has its redundant trailing slash back to silence a bug in Google Search Console.
      • This actually fixes a real issue for subdirectory installations, but Google mitigates that automatically by ignoring the canonical URL.
      • This was a regression brought in v4.2.0.
